Introduction

As we learnt, that in our community and country ,there are leaders who have been chosen to control the affairs of the community and nation.

The resources such as the money and equipment belonging to the community or nation are to be used to help develop the community .

These leaders may not use the resources wisely or rightly, therefore there is the need to check these people and make sure they are doing the right thing.

This process of holding leaders responsible for their actions and activities is what is known as public accountability.
