The Sun

The sun is known to be the biggest star in our galaxy (The Milky Way). It is a huge sphere made of burning gases; these gases include hydrogen (about 70%), helium (about 26%). Oxygen, carbon and nitrogen make up the other percentage of the gases present. There are also known elements that make up a small percentage of the sun (0.5%) these are neon, magnesium, iron, sulfur and silicon.
