Earthquakes

There are so many reports of earthquakes around the world which you might read or watch on the news. These earthquakes destroy properties and take lives. Earthquakes happen daily in different parts of the world.

An earthquake can also be called a Quake, Temblor or Tremor.

An earthquake is the shaking of the earth’s surface resulting in several waves that can destroy a whole city. These waves are called Seismic waves.

The Earth is constantly moving/shaking beneath us but the effect may sometimes be minimal so we do not even feel it. The movement of Plate Tectonics and Fault lines are very important when it comes to earth quakes.
