Electric Cars

An Electric Car falls under the Electric vehicle category.

An electric vehicle is a vehicle (car, train, truck, airplanes etc) that uses electric motors to move.

From the definition of an electric vehicle we can now say an Electric Car is a car that moves using electric motors.

Most of the cars we see on our roads are either powered by gas (internal combustion engines). They need to stop at fuel stations and top up with petrol or diesel to keep on moving.

Electric cars are different, solely running on electricity. They are usually charged up and can move around for several hundreds of kilometres before needing to recharge.

It is hard to see any electric cars in Ghana due to lack of resources (electric charging stations etc)
