Expanded Form

Writing numbers in an expanded form is a spread out way to write a number to show the value of every individual digit.For example;

300 + 40 + 6 is the expanded form of 346

7,896 = 7000 + 800 + 90 + 6

1,432 = 1000 + 400 + 30 + 2

286 = 200 + 80 + 6

8,374 = 8000 + 3000 + 70 + 4
