Domestic violence is a violent confrontation between families or household members. It takes different forms of abuse.

It could be physical abuse like:

• Forced intercourse

• Pinching

It could also be emotional abuse

• Insulting in public or in private

• Humiliating your partner

• Making your partner feel guilty always

• Calling your partner names

• Making all the big decisions


Abuse in a relationship is any act used to gain power and control over another person. Women are most often the victims of these abuses ranging from physical, sexual, verbal, emotional, economic, threats, etc
