Demonstrative Adjectives

These adjectives are used to indicate the noun or pronoun and they are always followed by the noun they are referring to. They usually answer the question “which”. There are different kinds of demonstrative adjectives. For now, we will look at the number form of the demonstrative adjective.

Ordinal numbers (numbers that tell you the position of something in a list) are commonly used as demonstrative adjectives. They are usually formed by adding –th to the end of the number. Let us look at a few examples below.
