Plural Nouns
The plural form of a noun is used when we need to show there is more than one person, place, animal, thing or idea. Plural nouns are usually formed by adding certain letters to the end of the word.
These letters are: ‘s’, ‘es’, or ‘ies’. Knowing which one to use usually depends on how the word ends. To explain this, we are going to form the plural for the singular nouns above.
Many singular nouns form their plural by adding –s at the end of the word.
