Differences between Hot and Cold conditions

There are certain things that help us know the difference between Hot and cold conditions these are; water, food, the human body and the weather.


Weather

The weather can either be hot or cold. We experience a lot of heat in the afternoon when the sun is shining brightly. This hot condition makes us sweat a lot and we prefer to wear lighter or less clothes. The weather can also be cold when it’s raining or when it’s snowing. We then have to wear warm clothes or cover ourselves with blankets.


Food

Most people enjoy eating food when it is hot. The jollof, the lite soup with fufu and the grilled tilapia are usually served hot. Ice cream like Fan ice is served cold so it does not melt.


Water

We can take showers with hot water or cold water, it depends on your preference. When it comes to drinking water; most people like to drink cold water unless you want to drink tea or coffee. Those beverages are usually served hot.


Human body

When we are sick and feverish, the body becomes really hot and we might sweat a lot. We say our temperature is high. When the weather around us is cold the body also feels cold and we begin to shiver a lot.
