Units of Measurement

The internationally accepted system for measurement is called the International System of Units or SI unit.

S.I System

This is a base unit. It is the fundamental unit and is not derived from any unit. There are three important fundamental units used in science. They are: the metre (m), the kilogram (kg) and the second (s).
