Preventive Actions against Badly Lay Out Settlements

Some ways can be used to prevent the putting up of settlements in poor layouts. Some of this may include.

i. Demolition: Bad layout settlements can be prevented through demolition exercises by authorized people. Buildings at unauthorized places such as water ways, buildings built on lands reserved for other community projects such as health centres, recreational centres etc., are demolished.
