Suspensions of Liquids

Activity: Suspensions of liquids.

Materials: Paint (lime), water, bucket and stirrer.

Method:

1. Put the water in the bucket.
2. Add water to the paint.
3. Leave for some time and observe.
4. Deduce from the observations of mixtures the need to stir the paint.

Suspensions or emulsions such as liquid medicine must be stirred or shaken well before use in order to make sure it is thoroughly mixed.

NB: The components or suspension or emulsion separates when put down without being touched.
