Characteristics of a Good Law
In order for a law to qualify as a good law, it must have the following characteristics:
I) The law must be in the interest of the people.
II) The law must not discriminate. This means the law must be applied equally to everybody.
III) A good law must be reasonable, the law should not be too harsh or rigid.
IV) A good law should be made known to the people who are going to be ruled by it.
V) A good law should not suppress the people.
