Effects of Conflicts on the Community

People may be killed and properties destroyed

I) Conflict is divisive and usually sets person against person, group against group.

II) Conflict creates insecurity and displacement of people.

III) Conflicts are extremely costly. War probably provides the best example.

IV) Conflicts destroy social relationships as there is mistrust, damaged emotions and miscommunication.
