In your previous lesson on Our Country Ghana, you learnt about some importance of minerals to Ghana’s economy such as job creation, source of revenue etc.

Tourism is a natural resource, people pay visits to these attractive tourist sites for leisure. Countries get money from people who pay to visit and enjoy these places. Monies generated from tourist sites are then used to develop the country.

In this lesson, you will learn about the reasons why people go on tour, some attractive sceneries in Ghana, ways of promoting people's interest in tourism as well as some economic importances of tourism.
