Ways of Promoting People's Interest in Tourism in Ghana

I) When tourist sites are well advertised and awareness is created, people will be encouraged to visit such places

II) People’s interest will be aroused when tourist sites are beautified and kept clean. The sites must be well maintained.

III) When people’s security is assured, they will be willing to visit as there will be no doubts or fears.

IV) Roads leading to these sites must be well maintained and new ones constructed. Bad roads deter people from traveling.

V) Where there are hotels and restaurants at these sites, people will be willing to go as their comfort and rest are assured. Most tourist sites are very far and therefore the presence of hotels and restaurants helps to attract people.
