Parts of a Vacuum Flask
It is made up of a double wall glass or aluminium container with a vacuum in between in the walls. The glass walls each have a silver lining on the vacuum side.
There is a cork support at the bottom of the vessel that prevents the vessel from direct contact with the outer container.
There is also a plastic stopper or cork at the open end of the vessel. The vessel is enclosed in metal or plastic container that is the outer we see.
The inner vessel is prevented from coming into contact with the outer container.
