Differences between Living and Non living things
There are seven special characteristics that separates a living thing from a non living thing.
These characteristics are;
Feeding:
All living things can take in food (eat)
Movement:
All living things can show some type of movement. Some can move things inside them (example Plants) and others can move from one place to another (example Animals)
Breathing or Respiration:
All living things can breathe in and out or take in gases from the environment or also release gas.
Excretion:
All living things can remove waste from the body
Growth:
All living things grow bigger. A baby can grow to become an adult
Sensitivity:
Living things can touch and feel things
Reproduction:
All living things can produce or make younger versions of their type or in other words they can make babies.
