Introduction

Rules and regulations are made to bring peace and order. Every human being has a different way of life. Some people's behaviour will be offensive to others whiles others can tolerate them. In order to bring peace and order among humans in a group, team, town, school, community etc., there must be a set of rules for them to abide by. These set of rules must be accepted by the people.

In some countries such as Ghana, we have rules that help in the governance of the people in order to bring peace and order. These set of rules is called The Constitution.

In this lesson, you will learn about the organs of government, the concept of separation of powers, rights, freedoms and obligations under the 1992 constitution and law and order in our community.
