Adding 3 – Digit Numbers

We will build upon our knowledge of adding 2 – digit number to the addition of 3 – digit numbers. Here, it involves renaming or carrying from ones to tens and also from tens to hundreds. We first add the ones and carry the 10 ones for a ten add the tens and carry the 10 tens for a hundred and finally add the hundreds.
