Protecting Habitats

There is a growing concern that animal habitats are getting destroyed. Human beings clear forests to put up buildings and pollute water bodies instantly killing animals or forcing them to different pastures which may not provide their basic needs.

In order to stop these acts certain measures have been put in place. In some countries, laws are passed to protect habitats and wildlife. These habitats are sometimes called Critical habitats.

There are now many more Wildlife, Marine and Forest reserves as well as National parks.
