Work is giving service for money. Working makes it possible for an individual to meet his/her needs. When you engage in a productive activity (work) you can earn a wage (weekly pay) or salary (monthly pay) or other rewards such as food, clothes etc.

Acquiring knowledge through schooling will affect your pay. Most companies pay their workers based on their qualifications. The higher the qualification, the higher your pay.
