Magnetism

Magnetism is the force of attraction a magnet has on another magnet or metal.

These magnets have certain properties or characteristics that enable them to attract other magnets or metals. There is an invisible force around magnets that enable them to do so. This invisible force is known as magnetic field.

However, not all metals or materials can be influenced by a magnetic field. Such metals or materials can never be attracted by magnets. Metals or materials that can be easily attracted by magnets are called magnetic substances.
