Digestion is the process whereby enzymes and other chemicals in the body of a living thing breaks down food substances into simplier forms that is absorbed into the blood stream for use.

Digestive system is a whole system consisting of organs such as mouth, stomach, small intestine and large intestine that work together to break down food for easy absorption and use (assimilation) by the body. Every part or organ of the system has a specific role or set roles it performs during food digestion

Every food has its digestion site and its end product that are formed after digestion.
