Summary

Feeding in animals is heterotrophic as they can not make their own food.

Under heterotrophic feeding, there are three (3) modes of feeding. They are herbivorous feeding, carnivorous feeding and omnivorous feeding.

Every animal uses a particular mode of feeding. For example, the mode of feeding of cows is herbivorous whiles that of lion is carnivorous.
