Mesozoic Era

The Mesozoic Era was divided into three periods-the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous. Some dinosaurs lived throughout all three periods, that is, the entire Mesozoic Era, whiles, some other dinosaurs lived during only one or two periods.

It is also important to know that scientists believe that the continents were once together as a single land mass, and that this land mass began breaking apart during the Age of Reptiles. So, dinosaurs were in one continent that was largely tropical.
