Ways of Ensuring Safety on our Roads.

The safety measures we observe on our roads is known as road safety.

Some of these safety measures are:

i. Respecting the traffic light

ii. Knowing the road signs

iii. Practicing the road crossing drill (look left, look right and left again before you cross the road)

iv. Crossing the road at the places provided such as the pedestrian cross, zebra cross areas etc

v. Wearing bright coloured dresses when using the road in dark areas.

vi. Pedestrians should always face approaching vehicles when walking by the road side (walking at the left side of the road).
