There are solar powered cars in existence. These cars are fitted with a lot of solar panels to receive enough solar energy to move. People take part in solar car races too, with different types and shapes of cars entering the competitions.

Solar Powered Boats

These are boats that have been fitted with large solar panels that collect solar energy. They are able to move using solar power. The Solar Sailor in Sydney is a prime example.

Solar Powered Houses

We already know that some houses have solar panels on their roofs that convert solar energy into electricity. But now a company called SolarCity in America makes the entire roof out of solar panels which aims to collect more energy.
