Government and Governance

Government consists of the people who have the authority to make decisions and control the affairs of the country. Most of them are chosen for that position through election by the people of the nation. This means that these chosen people make decisions and choices on behalf of the interests of the nation.

Government makes decision on how the nation produces goods and services and how the money belonging to the State can be used.

Governance refers to the process of the government in ruling the people, taking decisions and exercising political authority.
