Importance of Government

There are several benefits of a State having a government. These are:

i. Government makes decisions on how the nation produces goods and services and how the wealth of the country is used.

ii. Government creates an enabling environment for production and manufacturing. Examples are road construction for transportation of goods and services, providing electricity and portable water to all parts of the country.

iii. Government is needed to maintain law and order so that every citizen can feel safe. Government provides security services using the police and military.

iv. Government deals with other countries to look for support and financial aid from them.
