Factors neccesary for Photosynthesis to occur

Photosynthesis occurs by the presence of some factors and they are;

• Water

• Carbon dioxide

• Sunlight

• Chlorophyll

Plants need water which is obtained from the soil, carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, sunlight (energy) from the sun and the presence of chlorophyll from the plant which is the green pigment of the leaf of a plant before photosynthesis can occur.

The absence of any one of these things will not allow photosynthesis to occur. Photosynthesis occurs with the presence of all these factors.
