Feeding is the process by which living organisms such as plants and animals obtain their food to make them grow and be healthy.

There are two types of feeding. They are the autotrophic feeding and heterotrophic feeding. Autotrophic feeding is when an organism prepares its own food. This type of feeding is mainly performed by plants. The process used by plants to prepare their own food is called photosynthesis.
