Question Words

These words are sometimes called WH words. There are many different kinds of question words and each of them is used when we need to ask for certain kinds of information. When responding to a WH question, we do not give a yes or no answer. The answer we give needs to provide information.

There are many question words but, for now, we will look at the words who, what, and where and you will learn when to use them.
