Comparative adjectives
Comparative adjectives are adjectives used to show the difference between two nouns (or pronouns). They are usually formed by adding –er to the end of the adjective.
Example;
- Bella is taller than Sarah.
In this sentence, the comparative adjective "taller" compares Bella and Sarah.
- The brown box is bigger than the blue box.
In this sentence, "bigger" is the comparative adjective. It is used to compare the two boxes.
- Kwame is stronger than his brother.
In this sentence, "stronger" is the comparative adjective. It is used to compare Kwame and his brother.
