Future Tense

The future tense is used to show that an action will happen at a time later than the time you are speaking (or writing about it). When using the future tense, a word or phrase that shows time is commonly used at the end of the sentence. Some examples of words/ phrases that are used to show time are

• Tomorrow
• Later
• Next week
• Next month
• Next year
• Saturday

There are different forms of the future tense. For now, we will speak about the future simple tense.
