This has enabled mankind to track and respond to different events, natural and man made. Communication networks have changed in modern times due to space exploration. The internet and air waves of television stations in different countries have been made possible making the globe look small on a piece of device.

Space satellites can detect the formation of clouds and tornadoes just before they happens. In moments of heavy rainfall, the satellites are able to probe these events in space and send the data at a fast rate to engineers and meteorologists on earth to immediately announce the necessary steps to take. We are able to receive weather reports and updates quickly due to space exploration programs.

Space satellites installed in orbits are able to track and tell us the precise locations of events and places even when we are far away from them. This has been of great importance to the defense sector of every country. The Global Position System(GPS) system that is now on every mobile phone was designed to even assist an individual to detect otherwise unknown locations, road networks, etc.)
Spying
The satellite program in space exploration can detect incoming warheads to any country which, at first, took time to able to notice. This has made it possible for one country to know the schemes of another country and protect itself. Hardened criminals who are secretly doing their businesses can be detected easily and tracked down to due space exploration.
One popular research done through space exploration is to find out different planets with the earth’s atmospherics that can also be used at a new location as the earth’s population continues to soar higher and higher each year. This program has been in existence for some time now even though no breakthrough has been made yet.
As one can see, space exploration has the frontier of modern day industrialization and has taken hold of every business around the globe if one wants to do well in anything. Take it out of existence and the world will go one hundred and plus years back in time.
