Summary
Matter is anything that mass and occupies space. Mass is the quantity of matter in a particular object. Matter is made up of three basic particles. They are: atoms, molecules, and ions. Matter can be in the following states solid, liquid and gas. These states of matter can be changed into another state through melting, evaporation, boiling etc.
Cell is the basic unit of living things. All living things must undergo life processes. They are nutrition, respiration, excretion, movement, reproduction, growth and sensitivity.
Animal cells do not have chloroplast and cell wall. Plant cell has a fixed shape. Unicellular organism has only one cell example is the amoeba. Multicellular organism has two or more cell. Example is human being.
