The Trading of The Europeans

The Europeans came primarily to trade. Money never existed during those times but there was still the need to trade.

Without the use of money, goods were exchanged for goods. This system of trade is what we call Barter Trade.

The Europeans exchanged farm tools, alcoholic beverages, etc. with gold, pepper, salt etc.
