Our Natural and Human Resources

Natural resources in Ghana Ghana is rich with natural resources such as minerals, agricultural etc., that are important for the development of the country.

Ghana has a land area of 238,537sq.km out of which about 1.8 million hectares is covered by forest.

Natural resources These are elements that have economic value to the people Ghana has a lot of natural resources.

They are:

1. Minerals: Examples are bauxite, oil, salt, diamond, gold etc

2. Water bodies: Examples are rivers, ponds, springs, lagoons, lakes etc.

3. Climate resources: Examples are wind, rainfall

4. Land resources: Examples are soil, rocks
