Structure of PNP Transistor

The PNP transistor is also made up of collector, base and emitter. When the PNP transistor is connected to a proper voltage, the emitter will be supplied with HOLES which are positive charges.

The base is more negative than the emitter and the collector is also more negative than the base. The movement of HOLES will be from emitter to the base and finally to the collector. The collector collects the HOLES from the base.
