A Map is a drawing or representation of the whole part of the earth’s surface that is usually drawn to scale on a flat surface material.
A sketch map is a rough drawing of an area.
A scale of a map is how much an area has been reduced in order to show it on a map.
There are three types
of scales. They are: Statement scale, linear scale and Representative fraction.
