Composition of the Sun

It is the star in the center of the solar system. The sun is made up of some elements.

These elements are:

• Hydrogen

• Helium

• Oxygen

• Carbon

• Neon

• Iron

• Heavier elements known as metals

  NB: The highest component in the sun is hydrogen. It has about 75% of the mass of the sun. Helium is second with about 24%.
