How my community is governed
Law is a system of principles or rules that are enforced by legal force which people are expected to obey.
The process where people obey laid down laws or rules is termed Order.
These two separate definitions explain clearly the difference between law and order. With the enforcement of law and order, our community is very well organized and ruled.
No matter how good a law is, there should be law enforcement agencies protecting them. Even with these measures in place people still find ways to break the law. To help reduce law breakers in our homes, mums and dads have the power to ensure law and order is achieved.
In schools, the head teacher and teachers ensure order, and punish law breakers.
As well as our local communities where chiefs and elders ensure law and order.
In the national community, the police and courts help to ensure law and order.
