Festival celebrations

This is one of the most common cultural practices among the ethnic groups in Ghana. Almost every ethnic group celebrates festivals. During the festival celebrations, families and communities come together to plan and raise funds for developmental projects in the area. They make sacrifices and give thanks to God and gods. These festivals are mostly celebrated as remembrance of something that happened in the past.
