Peer Groups

Peer groups among youth have a great influence on the life of the individual. Children learn a lot of lifestyles from them both positively and negatively.

Peer group is a group of people who are similar in age, sex, interest or habits. People with all these qualities who are around us are mostly referred to as our friends. We do everything together, have fun together, study together, play together, converse with each other etc. Every young person has a friend or friends he/she normally interacts with.

NB: Peer group can influence the individual positively or negatively.
