Mammals and Dinosaurs

The Dinosaurs went into extinction after some period of time, however, there was one group of dinosaurs that survived that period but evolved into birds.

Mammals also evolved from mammal-like reptiles. Mammals were small and insignificant when the dinosaurs dominated the land. It was after the extinction of dinosaurs that mammals diversified into many groups. There were mammals living on land, in water and in the air. It is important to note that plants had already invaded land way before animals came on land.
