Habitat

Habitat is a natural place where a living organism successfully lives. Examples of habitats are land and sea.

Habitat provides the living organism with an ideal temperature where it can survive. Temperature and Habitat go hand in hand for each living organisms, this is why you will not find just any organism living in a particular habitat.

Plants do not usually grow in very cold areas (example mountain peaks) or very hot places (example desserts).

Animals that have adapted in cold areas cannot survive in warm areas and vice versa. Each organism needs its ideal temperature, extreme temperatures can destroy a whole ecosystem.
