Types of habitat

There two types of habitat namely;

Aquatic habitat (fresh water and marine)

There are two main types of aquatic habitat, they are:

(a) Marine water: It includes salty water such as the sea

Tuna

(b) Fresh water: This is salt-free water, it includes: river, pond, lake etc.

Alligator

Arowana

Tilapia

Carp

Terrestrial habitats: it refers to land as a natural home.

Examples are:

Tiger

Elephant

Zebra

Camel

Cat
