Biological Control Method

This control method involves the use of predators which are natural enemies of mosquitoes to control their population. This method kills the various stages of the mosquitoes. The predators feed on the eggs, larvae, pupae and the adult mosquitoes.

Advantages

• It is an environmental friendly way of control, there is no pollution with this method.

• It comes with lots of benefits since fish used for this control are fed with the mosquitoes and it is less expensive.

Disadvantages

• It is a slow method and cannot be used to control large scale of mosquito population.
