Misuse of Science and Technology or its Disadvantages

• Science and technology has brought or increased unemployment. Introduction or the use of machines in companies has led to certain people losing their jobs. Machines are faster and cheaper when compared to man power.

• It has also promoted laziness since a lot of work can now be done by machines.

• It has brought about climate change. This is as a result of heavy air pollution especially from cars and Industrial plants emitting gases into the atmosphere.

• It has also increased water pollution. Using harmful and bad practices like DDT and explosives to catch fish.
